As the Principal Architect in charge of this project, I increased the renal dialysis ward of St. Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. by 100% while it stayed open for patient care 20 hours a day, 7 days a week. This wonderful sun filled room is a former roof area, converted into a waiting room for 2 areas: dialysis and the main surgical operating suite.
