This above ground fuel facility,  located at St. Francis hospital in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.,  consists of three 40,000 gallon tanks and one 10,000 gallon tank containing number 2 and number 4 deisel oil plus gasoline.  These special concrete tanks are all fully fireproofed.  The pipes are heat traced wire and fully insulated so that they can not freeze in the winter.  Even the fill up "station" for the semi-trucks was custom designed to prevent any possible leaks of fuel into the environment. All piping is designed to meet OSHA and Federal Gov. standards for the year 2,002  I was the principal architect for this regional medical emergncy facility.
